Dsc Bellbox Wiring

Featured Replies

Heres one for you guys who have wired the DSC panels, usued in the original Brit Gas instasll, to a standard SAB bellbox.

How did you do it??

Like the GE/Honeywell/Napco panels, the DSC has a straight forward bell output +ve and -ve 12V. No tamper, hold off etc. Really simple I'm sure, but my brain is on slow today!!

Thanks guys

The bell output is monitored with 1k resistor, so you can use this to give SAB tampers or you coud use a spare zone..

There are no stupid questions, but there are a LOT of inquisitive idiots.

Thats great thanks. Fortuneatly, no-one is too bothered with Tampers in this part of the world, it was really just tying up the loose ends in the bellbox (Nova 6).

Try this wired Steps:

External SAB DSC Pannel

(-) AUX -

(+) Bell +

TC1 Bell -

BL1 PGM progarmmed in [009] as : 10 System Event

Tamper_1 AUX+

Tamper_2 1K_Ohm Bell
