If a Scantronic 9651 is not connected to a monitoring system/service what function do the PA, Fire Alarm, Medical Assistance dual-keys serve?

Will they emit an alarm?

Can they be reset as normal (i.e. with the user code) or does it require advanced resetting (i.e. by an engineer or remotely)?

Yes cmd 87 enables. Sounders & comms are triggered and user code resets. (eng code wont though!)

Fire & pa give bells & comms (fire different sound to pa).

Medical only gives comms and you need to prog it. I guess you could use a comms output to drive a small relay (to give sound etc). Would suggest op8 (normally tech alarm) Cmd 158, option 16.
