Ds2 Emailing Image.dmj To Blackberry

Featured Replies

Hi,

I've got my DS2 to send images to my work email account for viewing. They come in as an image.dmj file, which is ok on the PC as I have the viewer software installed. If I pick the email from a Windows Mobile 6 device, it can't read it, though if you rename the file to image.jpg it works, it then recognises the extension and opens the browser to display the image.

However, on a Blackberry Pearl (or any other BB OS for that matter), the attachment in the email is greyed out so you cannot open the image. Even if you were to rename the attachment to image.jpg or image.jpeg prior to picking up the email again, it still doesn't open it. Does anyone have any experience on how to get around this at all? Maybe it's the image format that it's created. As far as I'm concerned, Windows can view it if you force it to open in a picture viewer or Internet browser, but you can't on a Blackberry.

Thanks
