We have a Gardtec 370 panel and when we came to set it last night, after we entered the code and pressed 1 (that disables upstairs) 4 was displayed on the panel - 4 is the pir in the kitchen.

Now i know this means this sensor is activated, but there is nothing there to activate it and now we cant set the alarm when we go out.

Can anybody advise please?

You Have a fault on that zone that needs looking at. It could be 1 of many things from the Pir sensor, cable, panel.
