I have just purchased the mini cell checker from No climb and i would recommend this to anyone on here who deals with Radio fire alarms and wire free intruder systems.

Until now when i got a fault with a device all i could do was check each battery with a volt meter and i have found that batteries with a normal volt reading are now being flagged up as low capacity on this tester. It saves on replacing every battery.

Their SLA tester has been mentioned in the Fire trade section and i am going to give it a try as i find others tester a bit hit or miss sometimes.

I'm not on commission btw before i,m asked.... ;)

mine only works in summer, when theres a easterly wind and I hold in in my left hand :rolleyes:

that was 130ish on promo from detection supplies but normal retail is nearer 170ish.
