May 19, 200818 yr comment_197998 Hi New to this site. I'm looking for some help on JSB Firedex panel it is a 1100 and is quite old. There are auxillary contacts on the board NO C NC but they only change over on fault. Can this be changed to a fire relay? If so does anyone know how to change? Thanks Stuart Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/23298-jsb/ Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 Thanks Stuart I don't know that panels details but it should also have a fire contact. I would be very supprised if it only has a fault contact.... ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Life is like a box of chocolates, some bugger always gets the nice ones! May 19, 200818 yr comment_198006 If its the panel I think it is code 3112 or 312 as access (conventional panel) you will find a jumper pin that if you switch it over the relay will be either fault or fire , you cant have both I'm afraid , don't know why they left out on this part of the panel , personally any panel should by default have evac in , fire and fault contacts. It might be that you can add an additional PCB to these panels , don't know if they are still made. If you are stuck leave it as a fault setting , you may be able to fire a relay of a zone output , diode feed them , job done , better still put something else in place of this panel. It was probably supplied from a wholesaler , cheap as chips , but doesnt help you when you need to do interlinking , tell the client it does not have the capability to do interfacing. May 20, 200818 yr comment_198089 unless ordered with extra relays jsb panels come with single relay set as fault to set as fire change jumper with is on the back of buttons pcb you will usually find you have to power down the panel after changing the jumper or it may not work. some jsb panels were manufactured as configureable with a set of dil switches on the dispaly pcb, if yours isnt theres nothing you can do.
