Hope I can help you.

You see body camera have two kind of mounting way: C/CS, you can check which one you are.

Maybe you need the ring, Cause thedistance from lens to CCD is different.

C:17.526mm

CS:12.5mm

So if you put the lens suit the CS to C, you should ad one ring to it.

Actually to be accurate David, if you want to use a CS mount lens on a C mount camera .... you can't :no:

On the other hand, if you want to fit a C mount lens on a CS mount camera, then simply screwing a 5mm spacer ring onto the lens, will move it away from the imager enough to be able to bring the image into focus.
