I have an Optima XM6 house alarm that has stopped working since we had a power cut a couple of weeks ago. I've replaced the battery as I thought that was the problem, now when the new battery is connected and I flick the fuse switch the alarm goes off - do I need to re-program it?! I'd really like this problem sorting without having to call out an engineer...........

just tap in your code and it should stop.If not try 0123 .

Hi Fastcar, I've tried that - security code, 0123, 1234 and 999 to no avail...............driving me mad!!! Was working fine until the power cut

optima doesn't have a nvm you will need to have a reprogram call in a service engineer should only take about a hour
