The manual for the Avtech 782 seems inadequate to say the least.

When I did the first back up (to cd) I chose channels 1 & 2 to back up and expected a quad screen with two channels blanked out. Instead, all I saw was channel 2. Do they record on the CD one after the other? The settings were quite high so I couldn't record enough on the CD to find out.

Also, when the HDD is full, I can't see a way to format it.
