February 11, 200818 yr comment_190262 I have a Paragon Plus alarm system in my home and I'm getting a cat this week. I'm pretty sure the cat will set the alarm off when left alone so I want to be able to omit a zone (for example, the dining room) so we can leave her in there without the alarm going off. Currently the alarm is set up to omit the landing sensor/zone for when we go to bed, but how can I programme the alarm to omit other zones? I have the instruction manual but don't seem to be able to find instructions in there. In the manual, the previous owner has written down which sensors are for which zones so is it just a case of part setting and then adding the number of the zone? Or do I need to get an engineer in to programme it? February 11, 200818 yr comment_190265 Hi , The manual has instructions on how to omit a zone , you need to set the system as normal , then for example ,to omit zone 3 press the UP symbol , 0 , 3 (the zone number) , then the UP symbol again !!. Be aware that omitting zones has a detrimental effect on your security. Regards.
