I have a Gardtec 490X with the following Zones Zone 1 - E/E - front Door Zone 2 - Hard wired passive Zone 91 (radio) - wireless Door contact Zone 92 (radio) - Wireless Passive Zone 93 (radio) - Wireless Passive I want to add another Wireless Passive I carry out the following Enter Eng mode Select the menu option to add (Auto) new wireless passive Press both tampers on the wireless passive the panel detects the passive but when I Exit engineer mode then the panel reports a tamper on the new zone (zone 94) despite ensuring both the tamper switches on the new passive are closed Is there any physical wiring to change ? January 22, 200818 yr comment_188774 as angus states, the reason is the pir only sends a 'tamper clear' on the trailing edge of the 'pir clear' signal if indeed the tamper is clear at that moment then stays clear, thats why you have to leave it to settle then activate by movement it so it can send a pir alarm, clear and reset the tamper flag in that order simple innit? regs alan If you think education is difficult, try being stupid!!!!
