I hope someone out there can help me. My mum passed away late last year and I am now trying to sell her house. She had an Optima XL 6 alarm fitted when the house was built. I do not know her code and can't find the book that came with the alarm which might have had a engineer's code. So I am a bit stuck.

All prospective buyers have asked me to sort the alarm, any help would be great.

If you dont know the code then you would be better to get a local company to come in and service/reprogram the alarm.

If you use the forum search facility you will find a manual for your model of alarm

It might take a couple of phone calls but many engineers have the knowledge to reboot this panel - dont let anyone tell you it HAS to be replaced before they attend site
