We used to only do this where there was a personnel door too. This meant we could leave out the external manual release, coz if the mains went off they could release from inside.

to make the door secure the best option is 5 lever mortice ethier side of door, however I've seen the hole in the asbestos roof where they could not force the door, so entered this way for the alloy wheels off a rover estate........ :rolleyes: the mind bogles

Just town centre telly now, but when I did domestics they tended to be posh gaffs, s'pose that makes the difference.

I went up into the attic...I found a Stradavarius & a Picasso. Unfortunately.....

Stradavarius couldn't paint, and Picasso made a shocking fiddle.
