I'm having a problem getting a replacement bell box (Novagard GA) to work with a Gardtech 500 control panel in standard mode.

The LEDs do not light. The Strobe and the Sounder do not operate when an alarm is actvated. The bell box sounder activates with cover removed.

I've wired as per fig 3 page 2 of the Novagard instructions and Jumper 1 is in SAB position, jumper 2 removed and no address jumpers are connected.

Are the Novagard GA and the Gardtech 500 compatable?

should be compatiable...sounds as though you may not be getting a triggrer from the panel..if i were you i would check connections again
