April 6, 200422 yr comment_10553 We have an Optima 2 Plus alarm in our house. This morning, the decorator knocked the cover off the sensor in the lounge. Now on the alarm panel, the tamper light is lit as well as the light for zone 2 (the lounge). We have entered our PIN number and pressed reset but the tamper light will not go out. Any advice gratefully received to get our system back working properly !! April 6, 200422 yr comment_10555 Make sure the cover is on the sensor properly, then reset. It will not reset until all the tampers have been cleared. The system may require an engineer reset (if programmed), this would invlolve the engineer coming to reset the system for you.
