does any one know what theses crash so much

just locks up or runs really slowly??

It might sound a little scathing but they're basically pooh.

Silly idea IMO basing a DVR round a pc, as I found out by installing 15 DVA units from Andover a couple or three years since.

1 month - 1 complete failure, heartbeat and network ping OK, no recording, no life all lights still on, found out when looking for evidence for the CID re an armed raid

In the next 18 months a further 7 units failed in one way or another. mATX power supplies going down I can live with but complete system failure is not acceptable at this sort of rate.

Agreed over priced ****--any thing that runs on windows is bound to have problems--am looking to rip some out as soon as funds become available for a customer--they unique you into there spiders web then squeeze you for every penny they can
