Well i had a search about and this seems to be quite a issue alarm

i just moved into my new house which has this alarm system, up to now it likes to go off reg, tonight it has gone off and won't reset any more with the power and tamper light on.

is there any way i can put this into engineer mode to stop it going off further, i have a new born and it stressed him while i was trying to turn it off.

any help will be great.

You have a tamper fault on the system. Could be either the bell tamper, global tamper for the detection zones, remote keypad tamper (if fitted) or control panel tamper. Go through each one to isolate the fault, if you are not sure of what you are doing I would suggest you contact the alarm company who installed it as there are high voltages present in the equipment.
