Not one company including those recommended to me by members here will quote me for this insurance because I live in Northern Ireland. How can I become approved when I cannot get the cover required. I have 12 years experience in the alarm industry and 7 years before that as a time served spark so whats there problem ?????????????.

I would contact SSAIB or NSI and ask them who they reccommend or if they can help, clearly they will have contacts.

I tried them today apparently its up to the individual underwriters if they want to quote and they dont for Northern Ireland.

Who told you that?

There are plenty of approved companies in NI so someone must do it or SSAIB must give some leaway, i know my local inspector (a good personal friend) used to go to NI to carry out inspections.

This company is a registered SSAIB installer, ask them to help.......
