Featured Replies

Help,

I have an A1 AJ600 security system, but the external beelbox has packed up. Does anyone have the connection details for wiring up a Lynteck Vortex external sounder & strobe unit to the AJ600.

Vortex sounder ----------------------- Panel.

Return -------------------------- Terminal 19 SCB Rt

Hold -ve ------------------------- Terminal 20 SCB -

Hold +ve ------------------------- Terminal 17 Bell +

TG- -------------------------- Terminal 18 Bell -

STB- ----------------------------- Terminal 16 Strobe -

Don't forget to connect the battery either.

Tried what you put above that but still no good.

Control box alarming OK but external Box not working.

External Box works great when removing tamper pin.

Check for a siren trigger across terminal 17 and 18 in the panel. It should go to 12V when alarming and 0V when alarm stops. If it dosnt, remove wires then try again. If it still dosnt, Refresh NVM memory. If you are getting a trigger voltage carry out same tests at the bell.
