been thinking about this a bit more

once you have proved the relay you will have to go into programming and set the zone up as a keyswitch then set up the panel to accept a keyswitch but i think you may encounter a problem getting the reader to only part set the system rather than full setting

i can appreciate what you are trying to do but with security i have never seen the sense in fitting a component to make a panel do something it is designed to do anyway i would return the reader then use that money towards a gardtag keypad which gives you the full sytem control and a panic facility upstairs
