I'm now having second thoughts about this card and I haven't even tried it! I think the 240x320 resolution will be too low for me.

Can anyone pass on experiences with the Geovision or Avermedia cards?

I'm looking at the Geovision 600-4 (25fps) @

The Grandtec stuff isin't "the best" but it's been working fine for me for several years now, started with the single channel card several years ago and now running the four channel one. Only upset is the cards dislike of diffrent cameras. PT pointed out some internet sources saying mixing colour and B&W causes this so I may have a solution for my own trouble....buy another colour camera! :(

You'd be well advised to get a JPEG/JPEG2000 DVR. It'll be more money but a better and more reliable result.

It's almost definately going to have to be PC based DVR, I have the hardware and it will give me remote access via work etc. I believe an equivalent system with a dedicate DRV is likely to be
