Can An Ademco Galaxy 16+ Send Sms Messages

I have an Ademco Galaxy 16+ but wonder if it can be programmed to send SMS text messages. Not realizing that the 16+ has an inbuild module, I bought a Galaxy Telecoms Module v5.05 so if the 16+ can't use the inbuilt unit, can the external separate module be made to work ?
