Many thanks for answering all my questions so promptly.

I had pretty much come to the conclusion to standardise in my case on the SMART2 for the medium spec install and the DVR365 for the higher end larger and more sophisticated installs. Makes it easier to always use the same kit.

The sort of stuff I do won't require a 365 often, however I've got a couple lined up, hence all the questions. I was recommended the 365 by a friend of mine who runs his own Alarm/CCTV company, he's used them a lot.

One final question, will the new version of the DVR365 be known/advertised as 3rd generation or have a different part number ?
