How To Disable Keypad Sound On Galaxy 60?

Featured Replies

Hi, I am trying to configure a Galaxy 60 panel and I find it a bit annoying the sound that the keypad emits when you are browsing the menus. Does anyone know how to disable those beeps?

Thanks.

hi cgarcia,

don't use Galaxy but with most panels there is a keypad bleep setting usually hidden in the sounders or keypad setup menu's. failing that bluetack over bleeper or a nice 2lb lump hammer works for me

hope it helps

I have already used the mute option but it only works out of the installator mode and keeps bleeping when I browse the config menus...

I was wondering if there was any other trick to get rid of those beeps. Thanks anyways.

If you mute the keypad(and it as to be the keypad you are using) it will mute all the noise it does as it says on the tin.....keypad mute
