Sanyo 9400 Dome With Pelco Controller Help

Hi,

Trying to control a Sanyo 9400 dome in a direct connection from a Pelco KBD300A controller, as a previously used Sanyo controller is no longer available.

I'm told these are compatible by BBV and Sanyo, but can't get them to talk, using the supplied cat5 lead and breakoutbox to the Sanyo camera, this is wired using a balanced TX connection and external PSU.

Pelco P, D, RS485?

Can anyone help or advise on a controller that will work.
