Hi i have a Dvr7223 that i am hoping can be fixed. If it can i would probably like to stream this accross the internet however the software CD that come with it i have lost and to be honest it looked a bit ****.

Is there any software that anyone recommends that will work. All im planing on doing is running a ethernet cable from DVDR into a Linksys router. So i can see on pc indoors and from outside. However do i need software to do this or if i type the ip address into Internet Explorer will it just work ?
