Hi There!

First off, I would like to say that I am not a security installer, but I have a big question that I could really use some help with and I would really appreciate any advice anyone out there could give me.

Hi , I must admit I have never used this panel (could be a Guardall?) , but after having power removed for a while and being a commercial premises , I would be seeking out a registered installer to give it a service (flashing mains led = low battery). If you tell us your area , I'm sure someone will be able to help.

:)

Chubb

Guardall

It says on the little LCD scren "KEYPAD V3.1" or something. Will find out.

I am in Dorset UK.

I know all installers are different but could you take a guess how much it will cost? What should I look for - don't wanna go and hire a cowboy.

Sorry mate , it could range from a quick -new battery , to a full system check/reprogram , don't forget you dont know how the system is programmed (it could have been defaulted/locked).BTW if it is going to be monitored , you will definitly need a registered engineer.Hopefully someone will be along soon.

If the system was installed by Chubb, it would be advisable to check that the ownership passed with the shop as Chubb sometimes retain ownership of most ofthe system.

You could spend money on someone coming in to sort the system out only to find Chubb come in some time later to remove what is legally theirs!!

Sorry to be the bearer of possibly bad news but it is best to check now!
