Guest Seely Posted February 12, 2004 Share Posted February 12, 2004 What are the best external detectors that I can use around my detached house, we do get cats and sqirrels etc in the garden, we do have wind and trees, I need the detectors to switch on lighting and sounders. I always recommend GJD when asked for external lighting and other controllers. Pricey - but worth it. Opal or Elite detectors are what you need to look at! Guest RICHL Posted February 12, 2004 Share Posted February 12, 2004 Dual tech external detectors are much more stable than a standard PIR. Used more for CCTV, they are more expensive.
