Hi,

Firstly please excuse my ignorance as I don't know to much about burglar alarms. I have just bought a house which has an optima XM alarm fitted but the optima XM panel wasn't working so has been pulled off the wall. All the IRs are still connected etc etc

Unfortunately the guy who was going to fit the new panel can't do it no longer so I'm kind of stuck.

I was thinking if I buy a new optima panel it will work with the XM wiring, I know it won't be as simple as linking the wires together but WILL it work or have the new optima panels got different requirements to the XM?
