Hi just to check something before i cable a job as i hardly use intellex, can the intellex control telemetry on 485 and 422? and can you set up alarms for redwalls through the intellex to fire dome presets or do the alarms have to be wired to the dome head. help appreciated cheers

Hi Brad,

It's been a while since I played with Intellex but if I remember rightly, telemetry is generated by a ADTT16e. The Network Client software (they might have developed at web broweser for it now) used to connect to the Intellex unit. The RS232 output (remeber, it's Windows PC based) would then go into the ADTT16e. The ADTTe would then generate the SensorNet (RS485 based but not actually RS485) data to control the (American Dynamics) dome.

Thinks might have changed since my time with this product though. It might be worth callin Tyco Safety Products tech support.

Hope this helps

Matt

Used them in the last 6 months and they are still the same.

The "Network Client" software supports "Pelco Protocols" via a "Pelco Matrix" Havent tried this but it's in the manual.

If I remember correctly the alarm conections are on the units rear, but to be sure try Norbains support they have a guy who knows the product realy well.
