I wonder if anyone could help me please. I was doing decorating over the weekend and removed an internal sensor and internal alarm box.

I now have a constant message of BT showing on the panel. Bell Tamper.

The book says to call an engineer, I was wondering if anyone might be able to

suggest another way to resolve this.

put the equipment you removed together again, bingo job done (oh & check the fuses)

Modern regulations (PD 6662 & EN 50131) require that intruder alarms cannot be reset by the end user on tamper activation, so the installing engineer has correctly programmed the panel to need an engineer to reset it.

it not modern its 8-10 year sold??, if it requires an enginer reset it will show "es"

agree here you need an engineers code to reset this.
