I installled 4 Activ8 PIR's in my house at the weekend. Each PIR came with a plastic filter (pic attached), however there is no mention in the instructions of what it should be used for. I can see that they fit into the body of the PIR, but why would you use them? Are they used for the Pet Immunity?

Hello, One website mentions "Supplied with additional white light filtration which can be fitted if required for harsh environments.". That’s what it might be for?
