I've somehow managed to reprogramme my controlbox volume setting to very quiet and have no idea how I managed it. I've assumed that there's a 'hidden' set of controls accessible through the keypad that I've gotten into by mistake.

I basically I get a very quiet ticking (barely audible) when I set the alarm.

Any idea how I get it back to default volume other than resetting the box?

Hi ,

The speaker volume is set using a variable pot on the main circuit board , so is not programmable.Are you sure it is setting / unsetting?.
