Spec looks very impressive for the money but perhaps I am missing something.

Just found another place selling what I think is the same capture board from the 8 channel machine. Has a clearer spec and link to manufacturers pdf here

Site above is a bit untidy with lots of cheap cams - looks a bit suspect but the specs on the DVR check out

spec doesnt look too bad but if im not mistaken it looks pc based, if thats the case i probably wouldnt touch it as im not a pc based softeware fan. but also the price (if its pc based) looks very expensive as well. I personally wont buyone. but thats my opinion.

Yep! You are right.

It is PC based, runs on windows XP.

Still, the capture card looks pretty special. May give one a go, unless someone here tells me they are pants.
