Yes we tried one of these today actually for a domestic install, for the price its worth the money, picture quality good and set up fairly easy..

Cannot comment on recording times had it on all day and only used 16mb using 3 cameras, 2 on motion recording and one ptz the quality was ok so upped to fine quality which was better

I would estimate 10 days recording on high resolution set in motion with 4 cameras on a 250gb hard drive

Overall its a budget system you get what you pay for, so don't expect too much
