Not sure what you mean enter secure sites.

I use to bank with Smile and my pop up blocker prevented access to this site. Just a stab in the dark. Have you tried defaulting your browser?

cheers

Very wierd, that shouldn't happen. What exact Belkin model is it?

How did you connect before?

Firefox is great. Just try Internet explorer to see if it is browser related.

Good suggestion. I saw a very weird problem the other day with an older Netgear router. Just couldn't log onto it (by IP address) via Firefox, but IE6 was no problem.

Have a look to see if your router has a built in firewall. If so try turning it off as long as you have a firewall enabled on your PC.

I can't think of any other router related possible cause.

dont turn off your firewall. i would expect your running nat and that you have a proxy set for https as above

But everything worked ok before the router change.

What is NAT anyway

All my IE settings are ok, no changes.

CMD reads:

connection specific DNS suffix : BELKIN

IP Address : 192.168.2.2

subnet : 255.255.255.0

gateway : 192.168.2.1
