Hi All, Advice Needed

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

I just bought our 1st house with my partner and while we're still living at home with parents i have had time to get it looking mint inside, i want to get an alarm fitted and someone recommended a Texecom Premier alarm. I like gadgets and i like the idea of the key fob and the remote keypad. not something ive used before!

Firstly can you let me know if they are any good and ?

secondly if they are straight forward to install yourself?

Kind Regards

Alan

texecom do make a good alarm (imo), liked/fitted by many on here

:) if you going to do it yourself. have a look around this site first, there are many good tips, like.

do not run alarm cables along side mains cables

hide the wires (under the floor boards for instance)

etc,

:) take your time on the install, remember it can take some of the pro's on here more than a day to fit and test an alarm. ;)

alarm companies charge for time and experience, but at the end of the day you should get guarantee;s

:) good luck.
