hi there, hope you can help - i have just installed a second hand EL Summit 3208, wired it up, installed and on power-up the installer guide tells me i can enter the unalterable 123456 code, but its not allowing it - at first i thought maybe dealer lockout had been activated but now im wondering if maybe it needs a hardware reset so it shows as Ready when you power-up instead of armed? any ideas?

how do i do a hardware reset on this alarm? thanks

no prob ... didnt need a hardware reset after all, needed to go into manual program mode first (select, 7, 2) then enter the default code, thanks anyway
