July 17, 200619 yr comment_107285 Hi If you put the cameras on motion detection then you can lengthen the recording time considerably. July 29, 200619 yr comment_108711 Hi, I'm using Motion, a free software motion detection program that runs on Linux. http://www.lavrsen.dk/twiki/bin/view/Motion/WebHome I use it at home to record videos when motion is detected. I record at 8 FPS and it is far enough for me... You may also consider ZoneMinder (http://www.zoneminder.com/) which is more powerful. If I remember correctly, both allow permanent recording and/or recoding when motion is detected, at different frame rates... this may be an interesting option for you to save some hard disk space... uski Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/11350-cctv-video-samples-needed/page/3/#findComment-108711 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 August 9, 200619 yr comment_111078 I can provide you with samples at different fps and at different compression. Please contact me chrisw@wavestore.com HiHas anyone got any links to video samples of cctv footage at different fps ie 5,10,15,20 etc. It only needs to be short clips to allow us to see what the difference in quality is at different fps.
