July 13, 200619 yr Author comment_106873 You have a dynamic IP address, which means you can't easily find yourself from the internet. Not sure exactly how this software works but you need to sign up with a dynamic DNS service, such as www.dyndns.org. This will forward a domain name, such as www.myhomecam.dyndns.org, to your IP address. My setup is an ADSL line with a Netgear DG834v2 router. The ADSL is permanently connected so while it is i have a static IP address. I have forwarded ports 80 and 8080 for the two Axis 207 IP cameras, but i still get as below when i try to connect to the ip Testing that the Internet connection is enabled..... Passed. The Internet connection has been found. Local IP address: 192.168.0.2 Testing that HTTP server is on..... Passed. The HTTP server is on. Testing that Web Page file exists..... Passed. The Web Page exists. Testing the Dynamic IP service is presented..... Failed. The Dynamic IP service is not registered. Please click "PY Software web services (Dynamic IP Service)..." from the "Tools" menu and click the "Sign Up for Free Trial Account" button. Havea look at http://www.no-ip.com Hi, I will take a look at that. Theoretically yes, but it's not neccesarily guaranteed to stay the same as long as the router is plugged in. My dynamic IP address changes several times a day at times with no turning the modem on\off. I have forwarded ports 80 and 8080 for the two Axis 207 IP cameras, but i still get as below when i try to connect to the ipTesting that the Internet connection is enabled..... Passed. So have you actually tried connecting to your IP from another connection? Just because the DDNS service isn't registered doesn't neccesarily mean it won't work.
