Hi, we are having our front door replaced and have a query with regards to the alarm contact.

At the moment the contact is embedded in the door frame and door, but we are having a new uPVC door (and I assume frame!) fitted on Friday - I think it is a safe assumption that I will have to replace the existing contacts, but how simple is this and what do I need to get?

The alarm system we have is a Veritas R8 if that helps!
