i need a help on integrating the pelco spectra dome working with coaxial protocol with comelit dome working in RS 485 protocol.

i have and old system using 5 pelco dome working on coaxial for PTZ function using MPT 9500 controller, due to expansion in the system we have to add and additional 3 dome which are working on RS 485 mode. the customer wants to use the same controller for PTZ function of both the cameras.

Individually both the cameras are working. but when tried to use the contoller none is working fopr PTZ function.

your valuable comments will help me a lot.

tried the manual for MPT 9500 controller but no much details on it.

does your controller have RS485 port and does comelit domes support any pelco protocol?

If not, it might be worth using a BBV Starcard converter to change from Pelco RS485 to whatever protocol the Comelit camera supports.
