June 15, 200619 yr Author comment_103116 is it required for the window contacts (reeds) to have a tamper? The honeywell units supplied dont't (all the other kit does have a tamper though) Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/10945-newbie-install/page/2/#findComment-103116 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 June 20, 200619 yr Author comment_103897 on the control board i have internal bell+ Internal bell - External bell + External bell - SABB hold SABB temper return. I need to add an internal echo (sounder) and am wondering what to do. internal echo has power (+/-) and tamper the SABB wiring instructions dictate using internal bell (+/-) for the SABB strobe I assume: 1. add the internal echo (+/-) to the control panel internal bell (+/-) (in parallel with stobe?) 2.wire the internal echo tamper in series with the SABB tamper retern/Hold. I am looking for your opinions. Ta.
