Gardtec 350+ Panel Displays 66

Featured Replies

Hi, I have Gardtec 350+ alarm system and it intermittently goes off without being set.

When I reset on the panel it gives me a 66 code?

Anyone know what this means??

Regards Paul.

Are you sure its not a 360 or a 370?

Twin 7 segment display?

Its probably bb not 66, in which case there is more than likely a bell box tamper problem.

Time for a shiny new bell box i think.

Could be, no marking on the kit. Onlygoing by pictures on the web. The manual say GARDTEC 300/500 series, GARDTEC 360/580 User instructions, guess its a 360.

Sorry if I'm being thick but the bell box is unit on the wall outside or the one inside?

Is this a common problem with house alarms as I remember at my old house the first thing the maintenance company did was replace the outside box.

Thanks for you reply...

Paul.

Yep, the bell box is the box outside (which almost certainly doesn't have a bell, but a siren)

And yep, it is a common problem. The units suffer from weather, extremes of temparature, Etc. much more than any other part of the alarm

... And Roger types faster than I do. :P
