Premier 48 User Code Not Working On Entry/exit

Hi, I've just added my first user to this panel as a standard user. They can ar/disarm fine unless an entry/exit timer has started the I get the error "Sorry, code not allowed, use TAG". I know the answer is in the install manual somewhere but I just can't find it. Can anyone help please?

Hi, I presume you have a Premier panel running firmware version 7 or above. On page one of the addendum, Texecom say this -

"User Code Lockout During Entry

The control panel now defaults to locking out all user codes during entry. If this function is not required, it can be disabled by going to

2,5 = custom output number 2, switch number 5. Are you programming on the panel, or via Wintex?

Assuming you have Issue number 4 of the installers manual, have a look at Page 63, that has a diagram showing Custom output 1, switches 1-8. Just edit custom output number 2, and set switch number 5 to "not used".
