Guest alan_james
Please please help. My optima 2 plus alarm system bleeps loudly (the same noise it makes if you activate a sensor whilst waiting for it to set) when I enter into one of the zones protected by a PIR. Zone 3 is my kitchen and each time I move they system bleeps loudly but doesn't set off the main alarm. I get the number 3 on my display and I need to hit reset to clear it. It works fine when it is turned on and alarms as normal. Can anyone help as I have lost my instruction book also! On the up side I know when my son is trying to eat chocolate biscuits without my permission!! FASTCAR
Hi , sounds like you have the CHIME feature turned on for zone 3. To turn it off its something like press PROG , enter your 4 digit code , press the key that say CHIME on it , deselect zone 3 , reset , reset . That should do it! dinefwr
A common problem, switching the chime on without knowing? I get a lot of people asking me the same question.
