I have just moved into a new property which has an Accenta Mini alarm system with an ADE Accenta/Optima LED remote keypad. I have noticed that the tamper light is constantly flashing, I have put in the previous occuipiers access code and this did nothing, I have since changed the access code and the light is still flashing until the code is put in for exiting the premises and then it goes off.

Is this normal or is thetre a fault on the system ?

Hopefully someone can help me as I'm not sure if the premises is still alarmed when it is set.

Sounds like the service timer has been programmed to operate. This basically tells you that the system needs a service.

If the system sets and unsets correctly and the normal operation of the system is okay, then its the service timer.

Contact a local alarm company and get them to service the system.
