May 20, 200619 yr comment_99789 Hi guys, Has anyone come across Maintained emergency lights with Time Lag switches trying to start on their own? I have a fluctuating 120 Volts on the switched live and can't located the cause? There are 3 fittings and 6 switches on the circuit and some idiot has supplied this through 3 MCB's but the switched live is common to all fittings! Any ideas? May 21, 200619 yr comment_99870 Is it actually on the switched live cable whilst all fittings are disconnected from this cable? If not, then it could be anything. Need more info really, but I'd be inclined to rewire it before doing anything as it's non compliant with BS7671 or BS5266. June 18, 200619 yr comment_103542 Hmm, maybe it's the self test feature of the light ? I do have some emergency lights that regularly (approx once a week) light up themselves for a few seconds to test for the battery status and bulb health. uski Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/10640-emercency-lights/#findComment-103542 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
