Veritas Alarm

Featured Replies

Hi,

I wonder if someone can help me.

I have a vertias alarm control panel.

The problem is that the power was cut and the alarm started

to sound (Not really just continuous beeps inside)

When the power was restored the beeps continuted until all dors

windows etc were shut.

Now however the system shows a red light on zone 1 flashing.

This is the door and the connection looks okay !

It is not possible to set the alarm anymore and the BEEPS when you

press the numbers is sounding different !!!

Can anyone suggest anything to fix ?

Thanks,

Gaz

Check the condition of your battery.

The Veritas does not allow you to set the alarm as normal if you have a low battery, i.e will not set by pressing full or part.

Is the power light flashing?

This indicates a possible low battery or faulty supply.

To set the alarm with a faulty supply / battery follow the next steps:

Enter your user code and press FULL or PART (plus suite)

10 beeps will be heard.

Press OMIT

Display will show zones about to be armed.

Press 0

Power light will turn off.

Press PROG

The exit timer and tone will restart.

Exit premises.

This will be the procedure to follow until your power supply / battery is sorted.

Hope this helps
