Hello Guys,

Anyone set up an Intellex over ADSL with a veiw to moitoring remotely with network client?

Cant seem to access from the outside world and have set up port forwarding on relevant ports (5000-5003). Anyone any ideas?

Difficult to know what to suggest without more info.

Can you view remotely on the lan?

What router are you using?

Have you checked firewall settings?

Are you using static Ip, or dynamic?

Can you ping the router from remote location?

What have you tried so far?

Any extra info will help.

The Intellex is a PC based DVR using Windows as its platform.

You'd connect it to an ADSL router in exactly the same way as you would any computer.

Thanks for the help,

Now working fine, scoolboy error (tested from LAN on WAN address).

After testing on diaup to ISP now OK.
